Shadows of the Samurai -- Supernatural Tales of Old Japan

From snow spirits and samurai heroes to dragon kings and dancing goblins, celebrate the supernatural stories of Old Japan!  The shadows of the mysterious East come to life in a blend of storytelling and mime, lively artwork, and traditional Japanese music. Is the winter wind just a gust of cold air, or a living spirit of the snow? Is the dragon king a villain or a hero, in his underwater palace?  And why does the boy always draw cats?  East meets West in this fairy tale world from across the centuries and around the globe!

Suitable for concert performances, festivals, or school presentations (study guides available for school programs).
